How it all started...
It was November, 2009 after a golf game when a friend of mine, Kevin gave me a piece of advice that has stayed with me to this day. "Just go out there and do it man." With that, Strive2Learn was officially created in February 2010.
Creating a company from scratch comes with its rewards, but you also have to be able to weather those times when you wake up and question yourself. There will always be those occasional moments when you say to yourself, "Can I really do this?" or "What if this all doesn't work out?" In those times, I always remember what my friend said that day and those words have really stuck by me.
I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages from high school students to university students to adults. It is truly inspiring to see our clients achieve their goals whether it be improving their marks, getting accepted into a post secondary institution or being successful in making that career change.
The company has been built around the following motto: "Motivation, Positivity and Success." Our aim is to not only help our students we tutor from an educational standpoint but to also provide a fostering relationship with our students and provide them with any advice and share with them our life experiences in hopes of inspiring them to strive for more. Two of the most common questions we run into with our students are "I don't know what career path to choose" or "I thought I wanted this career but now I'm not happy doing what I'm doing." With this in mind, we wish to share with you stories about people from all walks of life and what they have had to overcome to get to where they are today.
It is my wish that no matter who you are, where you come from or what your beliefs may be, there is a little something here that will inspire you in some way.
